Elephant in the Room

You became poison in my life

The first time we hung out it was passion

The physical things that took place was lustful action

A person that I never talked to

Wanting to get to know you

Then things started to take a twist and turn

Feelings that got too deep; the lust that began to yearn

Avoiding the fact that physical ties took place

Nothing seemed right

It seemed like you came from out of space

But I saw the passion look on your face

Your kisses and touches got a girl all messed up inside

But I don’t know if you are wearing a mask; your feeling you are trying to hide

What happened after what was shared?

When I approached you about it, asking you a question

Not giving me the answer I deserved that was left unfair

Avoiding the real feelings nobody else to compare

So what did we really shared?

Confusion and frustration played a big part of this dramatic mess

Telling you how I truly felt seemed like an angry protest

I apologize for causing this confusion

The words that was sewn into your mind

Causing me to act through the emotional state causing painful delusions

I’m loosing

A friend  that once kissed me

The good times that we had that released and freed me

Lustful thoughts and physical connections

But the hurtful words I once said; left dead

Like playing world war two during another election

Damn I really got caught up in this whirlwind of affections

Two months and some days

And now already you got my mind turning in a daze

For days as I think about what went wrong

I’m tired of singing this crazy lustful song

But am I wrong for questioning your affection and physical aaggression?

But most importantly a friendship that was brewing in the mist of it all

All I want to do is grab your hand and say “Baby I’m sorry for hurting you with my words”

Taking the blame and this hurtful fall

But now I get no texts and the fact I can’t even call

Oh well

Maybe this wasn’t meant to be after all

Now you have became the elephant in the room

Uncomfortable in all the wrong places

As I see the tension on both of our faces

But really I wish I could see you making love faces

Yeah I said it

Love faces

But your cordial “Hello” and “Have a good day and night” makes my heart skip a beat

As the fire brews and I’m still feeling the heat

Of words that was twisted

Is my name still on your list of friendships

Will I ever be listed?

I want to engage in long conversations with you

Laughing and being free in all the right spots

Without the tension of making things worst

This elephant in the room is making me too hot

Sometimes I wish I could make you invisible and my tension won’t be as real as it gets

To live in peace and be free with my feelings

But I was only playing a hand of cards only to be dealing

Forgetting that hurtful words are left killing

So now I’m in a situation that is left on the wall looking like a crazy equation

What difference is there to give you my flirty ppersuasionlike some sexy and petite boss chick Asian

You see how lustful feelings can get mixed up in the moment and ruin the best time of your life?

But I’m ready to face this elephant in the room and to face the damage

To kiss these painful memories and to burn them into the heat of the night

Life is too Short

This poem is from my second book “Lyrical Passion Tears from my Inkwell”  We have to remember that Life is too Short!

Life is too short so cherish what you have,

So it wouldn’t hurt to smile or even to laugh

Your life isn’t promised so never take things for granted

One’s life should be precious, treasured and truly enchanted

Never treat a person bad because you never know what they are going through

Try to figure out a way to make someone’s day without always thinking about you

Holding grudges against people will only make matters worse

When going through issues or hard times always remember to put God first

Spend time with close family and friends and talk about great memories from the past

Seeing the smiles upon their faces, a picture-perfect moment that will always last

Life is too short so cherish what you have

So it wouldn’t hurt to smile or even to laugh

Love one another and just take a moment to have a good conversation

Patch up a small argument just a thought to take into consideration

When a friend is having a bad day, give them some words of encouragement

It will never hurt to share your heart with others, never need fro discouragement

Tomorrow isn’t promised, so live and think for today

Try dealing with the day’s problems and not going back to the past; taking things day by day

Life is too short so cherish what you have

So it wouldn’t hurt to smile or even to laugh

Stop to think what you could do to improve your burdens

Keep the prayer flow going when you are down on your knees hurting

A friendly “hello” might make someone’s day

It might make them feel better and their problems will float away

A thank-you card to show your appreciation makes a big difference in someone’s life

Keep smiling and keep laughing

Keep being humble and strong; continue to be nice

You can still live life to the fullest, keeping a clean heart and mind

Do what you can do; never give up, stay trying

Asking someone how their day is going; you never know it might put a smile on their face

Helping someone in the time of need is never a waste

Life is too short so cherish what you have

So it wouldn’t hurt to smile or even to laugh

A Lost Soul

When you hate your mind

Your thought process

You hate the flesh that you have become

To live in a world filled with hate

The tongue that is powerful

Lashing out at innocent creatures

Do you feel guilty?

Sitting around waiting for the devil to signal you to curse those who hasn’t bother you

You just shoot them in the heart with your tongue without thinking things through

You show no mercy but your anger elevates

Your mind is filled with the dirty hate

You don’t feel guilty at the present moment

As the devil wears your best smile

The sneaky kind that reads people

To smell the fresh bait that you are about to attack next

Maybe the people that are sick and dying

You cursed him wishing that they would die

And to my surprise they lash back at you

The devil has you right where he wants you

But in the end you feel guilty for your words

The hurtful and devastating words that you can’t take back

You start to feel guilty

Tossing and turning in your own sins

Your own guilt

The devil is laughing at you

Because he has won again

Your flesh is weak and yet again you have sinned

Now what is the next move?

You repent to God and beg for His mercy to save you from yourself once again

To relieve you from your sins

So that you can have peace yet again

But it must stop

The tongue lashing must stop

So that you can be blessed from a spiritual level

To become happy

To stop thinking negative

To encourage those without playing the part of the hypocrite

To stop talking to the devil

It must end as your pity and sickness is venting in thin air

When you  take off the mask

People still don’t really care

They don’t see the bad side

Only the side you portray and show

But your evil darkness side must be killed

So you can grow

To help others in the kingdom

To become the child God has molded you to become

Hatred has you by the throat

But you must let go of the anger

And figure out what’s keeping you from being happy

The girl who has fallen too many times

Is grieving for help

She is drowning on her own tears

Fears that haunts her as she does her dirty work when nobody knows

A lost soul that needs forgiving

To seek forgiveness

A lost soul she is

As I stare back at her in the mirror

In silence

Free-Write

I stared for a long time by the clear water watching my reflection in the dark waters

Pure silence pierces my side reminding me of a new life that’s ahead of me

I’m trying to listen to all of the signs of the whispers from God Himself

Watching my every move just like a shadow who stands behind me

Yet I can’t see Him

But feels that He is near

Time doesn’t wait on anyone

So little mistakes carry over and a new day starts for a new make-over

A new beginning

I sit silently inside of myself

To disguise and protect my own being

My reflections doesn’t give up on me but tells a gentle story

Of a Queen that deserves more than she had sold herself short of

To live in peace and happiness and to follow her poetical dreams to the final destination

Surrendering the old paths that doesn’t go anywhere

Just an experiment with life

Love that sits on a hill

Just like an apple tree

Waiting for her to pick the right one

She splashes at her reflection as her soul speaks upon the Heavens

To release her into a new life

A new faith
