30 Day Poetry (Final) Challenge: Day 30 “Runaway Mistress” A Collaboration by Lyrical Passion and Lino Robles

runaway mistress

Lino Robles:

I wrote a novel when I seen her face

With each letter & word I couldn’t keep pace

It’s like she made the stars align

Like an astronomer in my mind

I

Could just taste her, but hunger shouldn’t have a taste

Thirsty as if I just ran a race

All the years, but with her I could no longer relate

Even though it started out as a mistake

She

Was here to be with me

Intoxicated in the veil of deceit

We set sail to retreat

&

My mistress constantly

Gives me intimacy

She was like a hidden fantasy

Enhanced in the privacy

Of our own world’s secrecy

I

Don’t want you to leave

Even though we

Both know you shouldn’t be

With me

Cause

There are rules to this game

You know I’ve already given her my name

Because it’s easy to enter, but you’ll both pay

The cost of admission to play

Maybe

He’ll leave her for me you’d say

The runaway mistress on display

Hoping once she has me never to play

This game again

But

The thirst equals what water is to rain

& even if you got him the thoughts will always cross your brain

Will he do it to me or will he change

His player campaign

Lyrical Passion

Your eyes caught my attention but when you cupped my cheek, I could already feel the hot friction

I saw the ring on your finger but I paid it no mind

Because my tongue wanted to linger

Upon your edible lips

I could taste your kisses

The kind that will have my name mesmerized

Forgetting all about the Mrs.

I know you are playing your player campaign game and I shall show no shame

You standing here next to me looking all fame

When you sleep next to me at night all I want you to comfort me and make love to me

Even though your wife’s home is the right place for you to be

It seems like you want more of me and my love giving

Indulged in the love cycle of lust

So don’t fight the feeling

Spoiling me and caresses to my breasts and surprising me with hidden fantasies

A midnight type of loving that you can’t ever deny

The runaway mistress has gotten you to your ultimate high

No I don’t want you to leave!

Baby don’t leave!

We have some unfinished business before the sun comes up

Running a late night bath and pouring more Hennessey in your cup

I can see it in your eyes that you haven’t had enough

You then look at your phone

10 missed calls to be exact

The wifey will be worried about your whereabouts as a matter of fact

But we continue our night of intimacy filled with passionate fantasies

Alas when you go home and remember that you still have her key

But I know you are still married playing your mistress card game

To arouse you in the darkness and to let you join the mistress campaign

  1. The line that got my attention..”We have some unfinished business before the sun comes up, Running a late night bath and pouring more Hennessey in your cup.” Nice piece.
