Finding True Love~A Collaboration

This is a collaboration between me and a very good poet friend of mine, Eric Alexander.  Enjoy!

~ Lyrical Passion ~
She isn’t sure that true love will ever find her
Fantasizing about the warmth of love-spells that’s never ending
Forgetting about the tortures of heartaches and the misunderstandings
Waiting for a miracle to happen; something magical to occur
Staring at the mirror looking to see if something will change
She has wept more than ten times that day and her eyes still glistens with tears
A woman lost in the times of ancient love; forever in a day still in pain and fear
Praying that soon her king will arrive to her heart calling her name
It’s been too long since she has been touched in a sensual way
To embrace her soul with encrypted lust fulfilling every fantasy
When she finds out that he loves her deeply, she thinks to herself,
“Maybe he is the man to be”
Covered in sweet bliss of thoughtful prayers as she lay

~ Mr. Alexander ~
Midnight’s quiet stirring
Floats her concerns of finding real love to his moonlit sanctum
Lying on his back investigating the universe
He surveys the stars
Each one representing her tears of love longing
He closes his eyes and feels her in the air
Recognizing her pulling his energy out of bounds
Beckoning the simplicity of his warm breath cascading down her neck
Holding her with invulnerable arms
Needing the authenticity of oneness
Her absence Is evidence of his loneliness
And his loneliness is indication of her absence
Yet
He feels the magnetism of his inamorata
From many miles X’s miles away
And for that reason..
Destiny rains upon his soul
He will not grow old without her
Vineyards of love are stored up inside
Prepared and firmly confined
For the day that she would meet his confidence
Floor to ceiling high glass slides open
He emerges to immerse himself in the night’s black air
His stare into the heavens speaks a dialect to the planets that all celestial beings comprehend
It says,
I know you’re out there
You exist only for me
I will find you
Her hope will lead him to her
And she will wait no more
