A Poet’s Anthem

 I pledge alliance to the mighty pen

The mighty sword of the throne of my presence

My ultimate passion that God has blessed me with

To pen and bleed blood on the white pages to tell a story upon my canvas

To solemnly swear to keep penning and inking,

To write out the lyrics of my soul

And to be free with the mighty pen stroke by stroke

And to forever reign with the music of my words
